The Used PR1-4 Census
It is very hard for me to determine a PR2 "bluegreen" from a PR2a "green" from a scan. Neither am I convinced other Experts are working "color" carefully since most certificates seem to default to "bluegreen" while in my experience "green" is the more common variety. If I am positive of color I've added a designation to the number of (PR2) for bluegreen, and (a) for "green". Note there are at least two used PR2s on perlure paper (b).
Of special note are the railroad cancels. Breaking the "rule" of the blue/black brush cancels, Experts agree these railroad cancles are true postally used. It makes sense since regular usage had newspaper stamps stamped in a railroad car or station. PR2-CAN-06 is a Chicago to Cedar Rapids/East/Jul10 RPO cancel (Towle 691 D-1) and PR2-CAN-27 is Chicago to Burlington/Mar20 RPO cancel (Towle 694-C-3). PR2-CAN-28 is of a similar cancel although I don't believe it's been expertised. Note PR2-CAN-11. Someone has tried to bleach the cancel. It did not work out well for them.
